Blood Transfusions
We maintain a supply of canine packed red blood cells and fresh frozen plasma for emergencies and treating critical cases.
Boarding
We know that your pet is a beloved member of the family, and we make sure to treat them that way while they’re here. Your pet will be fed, nurtured and showered with attention during their stay. We provide all of the little perks like cuddling and brushing that you’d usually handle yourself. Your pet will have its very own room and special bedding while staying in our clin8cic. If you’re a cat lover, we also have a “cats only” boarding area with a virtual fish tank that’s far away from those rowdy dogs. The best part is that someone on staff will be in the building at all times, so rest assured that your pet isn’t alone.
Critical Care and Emergencies
As one of the original emergency hospitals in the Las Vegas valley our staff is experienced in critical care and handling emergency situations. While we no longer see after hour emergencies our reputation is such that other emergency hospitals will transfer their emergency and critical cases to us when they close in the morning. We have experienced technicians in the building around the clock to care for those critical cases who remain with us after hours. You can rest assured that your pet is being well cared overnight and can even call at anytime to check on them.
Dental Care
Your pet’s dental health is just as important as yours, so we make sure that their teeth stay in perfect shape. Our dental technicians use the safest ultrasound technology to clean your pet’s teeth below and above their gum line. This, combined with tooth polishing, lessens your pet’s chances of developing plaque buildup. Our pet dentists can even perform fluoride treatments that will reduce any tooth sensitivity that your pet feels while strengthening their enamel. Our veterinarians provide strict supervision over these techniques and can even handle complex procedures like extractions.
Endoscopy
High-tech fiber optics permits direct visual examination and biopsies of your pet’s gastrointestinal system. This allows for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral, esophageal, stomach, colon and even upper intestinal tract disease. Foreign objects can also be removed without the need for surgery.
Fully Stocked Pharmacy
Your pet’s health is important to us, so we always have a vast selection of the best drugs in the veterinary field on hand.
Hospice/Euthanasia
Saying goodbye to a long-time friend is painful. We work with clients to ensure their pet’s comfort and dignity. Services include taking care of the remains as directed by the client.
Immunization and Wellness
You know that preventing illness is much more efficient and healthy than treating it for humans, so why wouldn’t that be true for pets as well? Our wellness programs are specifically designed to keep your pet in their best health. We will design a program tailored specifically to your friend that includes vaccinations, blood tests, parasite (internal) testing, spayed and neutering services and a complete physical exam.
Internal Medicine
We know that to keep your pet happy on the outside, they need to stay healthy on the inside. This is why we provide internal medicine services such as endocrinology, neurology, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, dermatology, orthopedic surgery and several other areas geared towards keeping your pet healthy.
Microchipping
By now we’ve all heard about microchip technologies that help bring families and their beloved pets back together safely when the pet gets lost. We provide microchip products that are in wide use across the country to ensure the best chances of a safe homecoming.
Nutritional Counseling
Pets are so much like humans that some of them actually require a special diet. Even if your pet is fully healthy, they will still benefit from a well-balanced eating regimen. Our staff is certified and trained in nutritional counseling, so they’ll be able to guide you on providing the best possible diet to keep your pet in top physical condition.
Pain Management
No one is surprised when people receive pain medication while being treated by a doctor or undergoing medical procedures, so it should make sense that pets deserve this same consideration. Keeping a patient happy is the same regardless of whether that patient is human, canine, feline or any other member of your family; the ability to recognize and relieve pain is essential. All of our patients receive pain management when they need a procedure performed, and this includes after the procedure as well.
Professional Grooming Services
Treat your pet to a spa experience. Our highly experienced groomers will treat your pet to a special, cleansing bath to remove dirt, debris and that doggie pet odor – your pet will feel fresh and revitalized. If scratching is a problem, our medicated baths contain soothing agents that stop the itching. Your pet will then be given an expert cut, blow out and brush. Services also include nail trim, anal gland expression and ear cleaning.
Radiology
Radiology is the use of X-rays to keep someone, your pet in this case, completely healthy. This will allow our veterinarians to examine your pet’s urinary, cardiovascular, reproductive, gastrointestinal and musculoskeletal systems. These X-rays can also be sent off to allow our vets to interact with health specialists across the country to ensure the best quality care for your pet.
Reptiles, Rabbits and Small Mamals
We know we wouldn’t be much of an animal hospital if we couldn’t help all pets, so we have veterinarians on staff that have expertise on the most exotic of pets. Dr. Yach is our go to vet for amphibians, reptiles and small mammals such as gerbils, hamsters, rabbits and even ferrets. Dr. Miller is also very experienced in keeping bunnies healthy, and there’s a long list of clients who want Dr. Miller on their side whenever they go down the rabbit hole.
Specialists
Sometimes conditions arise that require veterinarians with specialized training. Our staff includes certified oncologists and we have access to specialists from multiple fields.
Surgical Specialists
Our veterinary surgeons include specialists able to perform orthopedic surgical procedures.
Surgery
Our veterinarians use the most innovative surgical technology and methods that you’ll ever see. We know all pets are different, so we specifically screen your pet for its own safety and come up with an anesthetic plan designed especially for your friend. We always have a surgeon certified by the board on hand for any necessary consultations, and this combined with our fully trained technical and veterinarian staff ensures that your pet will receive the best in medical care. Our staff provides blood testing, intensive aftercare and everything else you’d expect from an animal hospital that treats your pets like part of the family.
Ultrasound
Ultrasounds are used to examine pregnant human mothers, so you can trust that they’re fully safe. We can inspect your pet’s heart and other internal organs to make sure they’re healthy as can be. Speaking of pregnancy, we also use this technology to perform pregnancy exams.
